Costa Rica’s Representation at the 17th Council Meeting of IRENA
Today in the 17th Council Meeting of IRENA, our Charge d’affaires a.i, Ms Ana Iris Sanchez Rodriguez represented Costa Rica with Adriana Casafont, auxiliar of the Embassy in Environmental matters.
Costa Rica welcomed the new Director General of IRENA, Francesco La Camera and wished him many successes. Also, we reiterated our commitment in empowering women to have a significant role in the renewable energy sector. Costa Rica is a role model in this sector and we hope that our relationship with IRENA and the other members will be strengthened in the future, by sharing our knowledge.
